HE-transformer

The so-called HE-transformer (for which the characters HE stand for High Efficiency) is a low losses transformer especially designed for powering LED-traffic lights.

The transformer is mounted in a high quality plastic cabinet and easy to connect transformer clambs and easy to reach fuses. The design of this transformer was developed together with the engineering team of the Dutch ministry of water.

Various output powers
This HE-transformer is galvanic isolated and from stock available in four power types: 50VA, 150VA, 300VA and 500VA.
Depending on the amount of connected traffic lights the right power transformer type is available.

Day and night output
All HE-transformers are secondary equipped with a night (20V), day (31V) and fog (42V) output voltage. All voltages are selectable on the secondary side.

Customer specification
It is also possible to design a custom made HE-transformer in order to fit in any specific situation depending on the regulations and standards applicable.
