Power supply for privacy glass
Wesemann is the manufacturer of power supplies for privacy glass, according to the EN61558-1 standard.
The electrically blinding glass has polarisable crystals in the glass, which, when under tension, create a transparent glass surface. When the current through the glass is interrupted, it instantly becomes opaque. Depending on the type of surface, there are various types of power supplies available.
Stable output
By applying a stabilizing power supply the output voltage is always consistent. This provides a solution for spikes and surges in the secondary side of the power supply. The application of the power supply prevents damage to the glass itself, and makes line filters obsolete.
Delivery from stock
Wesemann can deliver these power supplies from stock, and offers a solution for every desired power rating and surface area. If you would like to power larger surfaces independently, Wesemann also offers relays specially developed for this purpose.

Currently Wesemann offers the following power supply types:
Glass surface: 0-3,5m2: Type WESGL3, formerly known as type SG3.
Glass surface: 3,5-10m2: Type WESGL10, formerly known as type SG10.
Glass surface: >10m2: Type WESGL15, formerly known as type SG15.
